Defining a mainstay for workday retreat

The Hub @ Bellevue Tech Center (BTC) is a freestanding amenity building at the center of a 42-acre, masterplanned workplace campus in the Northeast Bellevue neighborhood. A vintage amenity building with open-ended use, our longtime client and building owner set out to reinvent the purpose and play of this full building asset for its ever-growing mix of TAMI and professional service tenants across its nine buildings.

From undefined to flexible

The Hub now serves as a daily respite and return place for engagement, renewal, and refuel. Inspired by the interplay of nature and technology, the positive influence of the ‘outdoors in’ was explored through key moments and tangible expressions. A full-width folding glass wall allows for direct connection to nature and the surrounding BTC campus. Inside, three open lounges provide an open space for everyday gathering and a 15’ Brew Bar offers rotating weekly brews on tap and a host-ready surface for catering and entertainment. Five distinct meeting rooms offer space for recharge, outfitted with acoustics and primed with idea-ready conveniences. A cardio-forward fitness studio and appointed locker rooms cap off renovation effort, motivating wellness at work.
