The Brand Designer will take an active role in design projects of all sizes, seamlessly bringing innovation and collaboration to every new engagement.

It is a fast-paced role, designed for an individual who can masterfully wear a lot of hats, is a natural team player, and takes pride in constantly learning and shifting for our studio work. 

Who We’re Looking For–

  • Minimum 4+ years professional studio experience with a BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or an equivalent degree (sorry recent grads, this one isn't for you! Keep in touch for fitting future positions!)

  • Strong consideration given to candidates with technical 3D modeling skills and proven environmental graphic design experience

  • A high-functioning, multi-disciplinary design professional with a steady attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct mistakes

  • An ability to think spatially and consistently design with strategy (product/Client/budget/market) first

  • Proficient with Adobe CC and skilled in typography, layout, hierarchy, user-experience design and branding

  • A multi-tasker who is able to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment

  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal, skilled in presenting to internal team(s) and receiving feedback

  • A genuine, positive, and uplifting attitude that inspires coworkers and clients

  • A self-starter who is internally driven to make things better, exceed expectations, and actively collaborate with others

  • A critical thinker and creative problem solver who efficiently troubleshoots problems without compromising design standards

  • Takes active interest in researching design trends and best practices for both print and digital work

  • Dedicated to learning daily, doing your own homework (when it comes to developing new design skills and preparing for new client work), and coming to studio/meetings prepared to absorb/grow/teach

  • Takes a sincere interest in our product type (commercial real estate and hospitality-related brand building) and digs deep to find strengthened opportunities to blend design and strategy to improve branded experiences

  • An ability to lead internal reviews/design critiques and collaborate with designers and non-designers on strategy and creative solution planning


What You’ll Focus On–

  • Work with the full Nimble. team to develop out-of-the-box strategic design solutions that meet individual client / project objectives and budget requirements

  • Play an integral role in visual design implementation that will expand the breadth of a brand as it appears in new channels– print, digital, and environmental (into the built environment)

  • Lead design ideas and brand builds from strategy creation through final implementation, not limited to strategy sessions, project onboarding, internal and team-led client presentations, on-location and off-site vendor meetings, on-location site surveys, weekly team/client status meetings, press checks, project check-ins, and the like

  • Conceptualize and design on-brand solutions through new ideas and innovative thinking in order to build conversations and increase brand awareness

  • Develop new approaches to complex design problems and convey these designs in the form of presentations, prototypes, and design specifications

  • Show a proven ability to marry strategy and design implementation

  • Design and model concept visualization using a combination of Adobe programs and 3D modeling software/techniques

  • Program complex design packages for print/signage/environmental design projects and tasks

  • Communicate design thinking to a non-design audience; able to listen and take art direction and critique well

  • Collaborate effectively with all team members to gain an understanding of – and in support of – Nimble.’s practices and people

  • Report to senior team members on design progress, achievements, and difficulties within client projects

  • Show a sincere interest in the core business of Nimble. Design Co. and avenues to support its growth and team

  • Work calmly and efficiently within tight self-and team deadlines, while frequently shifting priorities

  • Be a steward of the Nimble. brand and core values at all times

  • Perform additional responsibilities as may be required
